Fantastic casual dining!Fabulous little Japanese eats! My husband and I had lunch here twice and love the quaint, cozy atmosphere. It&#39;&#39;s small, its cheap, its not fancy dining, But the food is good and the staff are quietly polite and efficient.We had the double dragon roll which was tasty. The Miso is really good, Pan fried pork gyoza and agadashi tofu which were both delicious and Karaagi Don which my husband loved. Polished off with a pot of Gen Mai Cha and we left stuffed and happy.Would thoroughly recommend for a casual, relaxed dinner where the food is good without the fuss.

We had an excellent dinner here with my friend. Food was great, service a bit slow, but helpful. We had spicy tuna roll, which was both of our favourite. The dynamo roll (?) with prawns was also very good! The atmosphere was very nice and authentic. Really liked it :)

I hate writing bad reviews, but I&#39;m afraid Sakana just didn&#39;t measure up. The waitress may have been new to the job, but she seemed to be completely lost. We had to ask for water twice, which you think would come pretty much immediately after placing your order. We ordered a few cooked items as well as sashimi and miso soup. We waited 30 min before even receiving the sashimi, which to our disappointment was frozen. We were sitting within eye view of the kitchen and freezers and it looked like most of their food is frozen produce. Miso soup usually gets served pretty quickly too, so it was surprising that after 30 min there was still no sign of the miso soup. We got over waiting and offered to pay for the sashimi we ate, but the owner was gracious enough to give it to us for free. Definitely won&#39;t be going there unless I want my stomach to start eating itself as a new weight loss regime.
